I haven't been around since Christmas and the new year it seems. I've been preoccupied with ponies and conventions. Sad, I know. I had though that the ponies ruined any chance I had at drawing anything but. I finally figured out a way to make my art work for me. So you will start seeing more things. I do like monster high, so you will see some of those characters as of late, but I hope to re-do some old characters of mine. Enjoy.

You know, I never know what to title my journals...I wonder if anyone else has that problem...

Well I made it back safely from Scotland and had quite a good trip. The plane ride home was horrible though. 9 hours in a very uncomfortable chair. The landing was the worst. It felt like we were on an old rickety roller coaster and I am terrified of coasters! Not sure what I shall draw next. I want to get myself a fursona, but I have no idea what critter I ought to use. Any thoughts on how you ought to choose an animal for yourself?

I know its a bit of a funny title for a journal, but it is appropriate. I am in Scotland of all places right now. I got the most amazing opertunity to visit for Christmas. I don't know what I was expecting, but it is strangely similar to West Virginia in landscaping and the weather is pretty close to Indiana, where I live. The wind is blistering, but that is what you get for being next to the coast in December. I would love to say that I will have loads of influence for my art while I am here, but I may not have the time! My Fiance wants to show me everything he can in ten days!

There have been a few rather amusing incidents so far, mostly caused by differences in language and the way things work technically in the homes. I was shocked to find the laundry facilities in the kitchen, but apparently that is quite the norm. I had to look around to find the fridge. Blends in with the cabinets and its under the counter. Same with the freezer, so that was different. The electrical outlets need to be switched on and most of the heat seems to be done by radiators. I tried to take a bath and tried for a good half hour to get the water hot...it just wouldn't so I thought maybe it was broken. Turns out you have to flip a switch to turn on the hot water. I guess that is so you don't waist it? Speaking of switches I went to plug in my laptop, but it wasn't charging and I didn't notice. Turns out you have to flip the outlet on as well. Scottish folk seem to love their switches!

I actually adjusted to riding on the wrong side of the road fairly quickly, which seems to have pleased my fiance. My future in-laws seem to like me which took a load off of my mind. I actually saw a kilt store too! Speaking of new sites, I got to see seagulls as well. I can't recall if I have ever seen them before and if I have it wouldn't have been since I was about 5 when my grandparents took us to the beach in Florida. I think everyone is finding my accent and misunderstanding of terms hilarious. When I was at my in-laws-to-be's house they showed my the tree (which is so much smaller that U.S trees) and I asked what these large round wrapped things were. Turns out they were crackers. Problem is due to the size of them I thought they meant they had actual crackers in them....like Ritz or Saltines. They had quite the laugh when I asked what kind of crackers...hehe.

Right now its about 3 a.m. in Scotland, so Jet lag is definitely a bit of an issue. I wonder what my Fiance will have us do tomorrow? Well I suppose I should be off to bed now as I do have to actually get up in about four hours. Yay for lack of sleep! I'll try to post a few pics of my trip if I can. Maybe I'll read a bit of Harry Potter or watch SFdebris. Anyway to quote my Fiance's dad,

Finally after who knows how long I finally managed to take the time and clean out my gallery. Its cleaned up and ready for some new decent art that has nothing to do with MLP! Only problem is I am not entirely sure where to start. Its been so long I am a touch blank minded. So if anyone has suggestions I would love them. I do play Wow now so maybe I will give that a go...I also am a Tinkerbell fan and have a few sketches about. Anything to really get started again.

Thank you all for being so patient with me after the hacking over a year ago. I know I have lost quite a few watchers do to idleness and I will loose even more for lack of ponies, but hopefully I will find new watchers and get back some of the skill I have lost with the pony infection.

even with the cleaning I did leave up four pony animations for the moment. I need to make sure I have them on the other account and as these are the only animations I have done, I don't want to loose them.

I love ponies. Its mostly what I do. SO when I say no more ponies I mean no more ponies on THIS account. I'm sick of being swamped by comments and favs for pony stuff that is dated or that I have already talked about elsewhere.

If you do get it made send me a link, I would love to see it. If you cant make it yourself and commission someone else to do it...go for it thats fine. Wanna make five hundred to sell at a con? NO! Any notes or questions on the hoodies will be ignored so please...leave me alone about the damned hoodies!
