*EDIT - Re-uploded the pic after a feq cosmetic changes. Changed his chest markings to make him look more masculine. Also edited the fins slightly.

This is a finished Illustration of Kahdel. His coloring was based off of a koi. I didn't want to give him the 'cut in half' look of Disney's mermaids, but I still wanted his markings to be easily redrawn and animated. I'll be making a refrence sheet later, but I needed the painting for a class final.
Again the lines were done in Illustrator CS3. It turned out supprisingly well. I have had a few questions, mostly from friends at school, on how to do it. Would anyone be interested in a tutorial of how I do things, weather its coloring, linework or the drawings?
